Just Released, "Coming Full Circle, A Unique Collection of Inspirational Poetry, Proverbs and Spiritual Affirmations."

As a naturally gifted poet, it was easy for me to accept my true calling after my discharge from the military. Throughout my Navy career I always felt the Divine Spirit tugging at my soul, guiding me to a place of refuge each time I was confronted with adversity and retaliation as a military whistleblower.  I view my abrupt departure from Naval service as a Spiritual blessing in disguise.  Had it not been for my “calling” my voice would have been permanently silenced.  My mentor and Spirit Guide once said, "A voice unsung is a voice unspoken."  My response to that affirmation is, "I now know why the caged bird sings!"

  1. Syneeda, I'm convinced, you are an intriguing woman who's full of mystery.

    Congratulations on the release of your latest poetry book and I look forward to acquainting myself with you in a public recital.

    Until then,
    "I am not dazzled by my muse's features,
    for her the name of beauty is too grand;
    young mean do not at one become her creatures
    or languish after her, a lovesick band.
    The latest style is not her affectation,
    nor flashing eyes, nor sparkling conversation,
    with suchlike artifice she has not truck,
    and yet the world at times is somewhat struck
    by something in her face beyond the common,
    a calm simplicity of word or phrase,
    so they refrain from passing wounding comment
    and honor her instead with idle praise."
