On Social Awareness: Injustice, Corruption, Veteran Advocacy Support, Human Rights Advocate and simply "Telling the Truth", even if it hurts!
Sy, I'm glad to see you are back to writing poetry again and I'm looking forward to receiving more of your enlightenment beyond, Black Pearls of Wisdom. The literary community would rather dissect and study the wisdom of poets long after they have left this realm. You are a true inspiration to all, and I agree with MAJ Glenn MacDonald, your unique writing is just as phenomenal as the late Dr. Maya Angelou.
Anon, Thank you, you are too modest. Yes, I do enjoy writing poetry, it's like breathing; refreshing as well as rejuvenating to my soul. Major "Glenn" MacDonald has been encouraging me for a number of years to share my poetry on a much larger venue but I like to pursue things one step at a time. I think helping military veterans gain better human rights and civil rights protection is my priority. Maybe after my case is over I will consider it.
