Oh my word this poem really touched me to be a young fellow growing in an era where everything is in our face, which we undermine and dont pay attention to. The freedom we have is build with sweat and blood.

Anon, Yes, I agree. Dr. Angelou is an amazing woman and she's inspired me throughout my life. I've read nearly everyone of her poems and a few of my own poems were inspired by her work. She is truly a remarkable Renaissance woman.
