Conrad Murray to only serve TWO years in jail for killing Michael Jackson

DOCTOR Conrad Murray was yesterday sentenced to four years in prison for killing Michael Jackson – but will serve only two.

Dr Murray sat stoney-faced with his hands clasped as Superior Court Judge Michael Pastor repeatedly berated him for what he called a “horrific violation of trust” while caring for Jackson.

Sentencing him, Judge Pastor said: “Dr Murray became involved in a cycle of horrible medicine, the practice of Propofol for medicine madness, which violated his sworn obligation – for money, fame, prestige.”

Wow…. I’m speechless!!!  I’m certain the Jackson family is already preparing a civil action lawsuit!

An Atlanta Woman Alleges a 13-year Affair with Herman Cain

Today, the Associated Press reported:

Woman alleges long affair with Herman Cain

WASHINGTON (AP) — In an explosive allegation, a Georgia woman said Monday she and Republican presidential hopeful Herman Cain had a 13-year extramarital affair that lasted nearly until the former businessman announced his candidacy for the White House several months ago.

"Here we go again. I didn't do anything wrong," Cain said in a pre-emptive denial that lumped a detailed claim of a consensual affair in with earlier allegations of sexual harassment.

But the woman, Ginger White, said in an interview with Fox 5 Atlanta that over the years, Cain bought her airplane tickets so she could join him in cities as far-flung as Palm Springs, Calif., and Atlanta.

"It was fun," the 46-year-old White said. "It was something that took me away from my humdrum life at the time. And it was exciting."

Although Cain flatly denied the affair, his lawyer issued a public statement that included no such denial and suggested that the media — and the public — had no business snooping into the details of consensual conduct between adults.

After the initial report and Cain's denial, White told The Associated Press that Cain was not being truthful when he said there had been no affair.

"That would be false," White said. "What I said in the interview was true."

U.S. Navy Amphib CO’s ‘good time’ ended his career

A few secrets, which have been hidden behind the Navy’s “Iron Curtains”, are finally being leaked.

Since the former Chairman of the Joint Chief Staff, ADM Mullen is no longer the senior military officer at the helm. Brave Sailors are finally speaking out to expose years of ongoing workplace abuse.

Thanks to a recent article published by Navy Times, we can finally read a description of how the stage is typically set.   Before the abuse leads to sexual assault, rape or in the case of PFC Lavena Johnson, MURDER!!

The military has ZERO TOLERANCE for drug abuse.  Why can’t it be the same for workplace abuse?
All the CO needs is a positive lab test, before the drug abuser is punished and later kicked out of the military.
So, why are victims, who come forward to report rape after undergoing a positive lab test to show evidence of the assault, are the ones being punished and kicked out of the military?
Maybe it’s to cover-up for behavior that is condoned in the military
If a single woman gets accused of adultery, she goes to jail and gets kicked out of the military
But if the married husband is accused of adultery, he gets awarded a Navy Commendation Medal and is allowed to continue to serve in the military.
If a service member is a victim of rape in the military, they are accused of being a liar, gets punished and subsequently kicked out of the military.
If a male is accused of raping the victim, he is protected by his “band of brothers” and is able to continue his services and will most likely become a serial rapist because he was able to get away with the crime once before!!
What kind of message is this sending to our mothers and fathers who support our veterans in carrying out their patriotic duty in serving our country?
The way the military has evolved has become a disgrace to the founding fathers of our country and the millions of veterans who have sacrificed their lives in holding the democracy of the U.S. Constitution and our Declaration of Independence, which was founded on the principles of “Life, Liberty and “The Pursuit of Happiness”.
To be denied your freedom and not be allowed to continue to serve your country, or exercise your rights to protection under the Constitution is not the pursuit of happiness.  It’s the pursuit of being forced to live your life in shame.  Because, as a victim of workplace, you chose to speak out about injustice!

Tragic Death of PFC Levana Johnson

As an Advocate against workplace abuse, the tragic death of PFC Lavena Johnson sends chills up my spine each time I read a story about her being raped and murdered. There are not enough words I can say that will help to heal the pain in the hearts of her family.  As a soldier of truth in helping to bring about justice, I pray that her story is shared with millions who are not afraid to speak out against the injustice and abuse against our military veterans.

There Are Lies, Then There Are Damnable Lies
The Army's shameful cover-up of the murder of PFC Lavena Johnson
by Glenn MacDonald

A lot of stories have crossed my desk in the 11 years I've been editor-in-chief of This one's the most egregious cover-up I've ever seen.

Pfc. Lavena Johnson, a 19 year-old honors student from Florissant, Mo., was beaten, raped, murdered and her body set on fire in a contractor's tent at Balud, Iraq July 19, 2005, yet the U.S. Army would have us believe she committed suicide because she was "depressed."

The slain soldier's father, Dr. John H. Johnson, didn't buy the official story from the start.

Pfc. Levena Johnson

"Lavena spoke with my wife Linda on the phone the night before she died," the doctor said. "My daughter was her usual upbeat self. She said how happy we'd all be when she got home. There was no hint of any problem, no sign that she was depressed or thinking of harming herself."

The Johnsons are a close-knit family.  Deeply-religious, Levana sang in the church choir.  She was adored by all who know her.  There was never any trouble with her three older brothers and kid sister.

“My wife and I hoped that she would go on to college like my boys, “Dr. Johnson said, “but Lavena was very patriotic and wanted to join the Army.”

"I'm a veteran myself," he said. "I knew the risks she might go to Iraq or Afghanistan. I just never thought my baby would be killed and the Army cover it up."

To understand her father's suspicions, one must realize how horrific the injuries were to the young soldier, who stood only five feet tall, weighing 98 pounds.

According to the autopsy report, both PFC Johnson's eyes were blackened and one socket fractured; her nose smashed; her teeth punched inward and lips mangled and swollen.

There was a gunshot wound to her head and a caustic substance like lye poured onto her genitals. Bite and scratch marks covered her upper torso and she'd been set afire with lighter fluid. The flames had quickly gone out, but the private's back and hand were burned.

Lying beside the fully clothed body in the tent was an M-16 rifle. Picture if you will, the petite female holding the weapon at parade rest. The muzzle end would reach higher than her elbow.

The Army C.I.D. report claims she somehow positioned the firearm against the left side of her head and still reached out far enough to pull the trigger. Too bad they didn't check her personnel file first. Lavena is right-handed. No gunpowder residue was found on either hand.

Which came first? The shot in the head, or pouring a caustic subtance on her genitals? Was that after she bit herself in places her mouth could never reach?

Why no suicide note? Wouldn't Levena, if suffering from depression, go to a chaplain for solace? The Army claims she "told other soldiers she wanted to kill herself," but if she did say that, why didn't GI's alert someone to get help?

The answer is clear. PFC Johnson didn't commit suicide. She was murdered.

Could it be the first female soldier and African-American woman to die in Iraq fought back against her attacker? That would explain the teeth punched in and severe head injuries. A rapist, easily weighing twice as much as Johnson, could have straddled his victim and beat her with fists until she stopped struggling.

The gunshot to the head was meant to make it appear to be suicide. Lye used would kill DNA. Bite marks indicate sexual activity. The fire was meant to destroy the body and burn down the tent, but whoever attacked Pfc. Johnson didn't stick around long enough to make sure the flames didn't go out.

Dr. Johnson had to file a FOIA request to obtain his slain daughter's autopsy records. When he studied the close-up color pictures, the heartsick dad saw stark evidence of her injuries. He knew she could never have done that to herself. Yet the Defense Department stubbornly declares her death a suicide - "case closed."

In a meeting with their congressman, W. Lacey Jr., (D-Mo.), Lavena's parents were confronted by six Army officers who insisted the teen-aged private killed herself.

Well, the Pentagon can send a battalion of liars if they want, but some day the truth will be known. In the meantime, Johnson's family grieves her loss and the beautiful young soldier's slayer has gotten away with murder.

Illegal use of the drug “Spice” becoming a growing epidemic in the Navy

This week it was reported the Navy has busted another 28 sailors for illegal use of the drug “Spice”, a synthetic drug which mimics marijuana, or “Weed”!

The sailors were all assigned the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan, homeport in San Diego.

Just over a month ago, 64 sailors were also busted for using the drug, and 49 of them were stationed on board the aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson.  The carrier recently hosted the first “carrier classic” basketball game and was visited by the President and the First Lady.

Earlier this year, the Navy busted several midshipmen at the Navy Academy who also popped positive for using “Spice”.

So why are so many Navy sailors’ suddenly becoming “wanna be” pot heads?

A Thanksgiving Day Prayer

Lord, so often times, as any other day
When we sit down to our meal and pray

We hurry along and make fast the blessing
Thanks, amen. Now please pass the dressing

We're slaves to the olfactory overload
We must rush our prayer before the food gets cold

But Lord, I'd like to take a few minute more
To really give thanks to what I'm thankful for

For my family, my health, a nice soft bed
My friends, my freedom, a roof over my head

I'm thankful right now to be surrounded by those
Whose lives touch me more than they'll ever possibly know

Thankful Lord, that You've blessed me beyond measure
Thankful that in my heart lives life's greatest treasure

That You, dear Jesus, reside in that place
And I'm ever so grateful for Your unending grace

So please, heavenly Father, bless this food You've provided
And bless each and every person invited,

Wishing you and yours a Happy and Safe Thanksgiving!

New Dept of Defense Secretary gets VIP flights at coach cost, weekly commute can run $30,000

Earlier this week the Washington Post reported:
The President’s proposed plan for the 1.2 trillion dollar deficit cuts which are designed to fall evenly on the military and domestic government programs beginning in 2013, and Defense Secretary Leon Panetta as well as lawmakers in both parties have warned the impact on the Pentagon could be devastating.
On Monday, the WP reported the following quote made from the Secretary of Defense, Leon Panetta:
In my four decades involved with public service, I have never been more concerned about the ability of Congress to forge common-sense solutions to the nation’s pressing problems,” Panetta, a former House budget committee chairman, said in a statement. “The half-trillion dollars in additional cuts demanded by sequester would lead to a hollow force incapable of sustaining the missions it is assigned.”

Was the new defense secretary’s warning just another way of saying, “Why can’t we leave well enough alone”

Yesterday, the Washington Times reported:
Panetta gets VIP flights at coach cost, weekly commute can run $30,000
Congress will continue to foot the “Airfare” for the new Dept. of Defense Secretary, Leon Pinetta, former C.I.A. Director, who makes weekly visits from Washington D.C. to Monterey Cali, to visit his family, and has flown there at least 14 times since September”.
I’m sure the so-called “Super-deficit-committee”, who’s been having ongoing meeting since September on ways to decrease the American $15 trillion deficit, wasn’t prepared for this “Oversight” to be leaked.
Although the news article mostly provides an inside look into the ongoing back and forth commuting of the new and former Secretary of Defense(s) at the expense of American taxpayers, it also sheds light on other areas to consider while examining cutting the defense budget deficit.

The article also stated:
“When asked about Mr. Panetta’s frequent trips to CaliforniaSen. Claire McCaskill, a Democrat from Missouri and a strong advocate for cutting waste and abuse in governmentMrs. McCaskill first said she didn’t think the president’s or defense secretary’s travel was the best place to look for government savings
After learning about Mr. Panetta’s 14 trips to Monterey since July, she reconsidered.

“This is something I think the secretary should speak to in light of the cuts we are going to have to do everywhere,” she said.

So how should Congress direct the new defense secretary to go forward in identifying which military program managed areas to cut?  The ones that are huge culprits of DoD military wasteful spending?

As a certified military whistle blower I have a few suggestions of my own,  but I'll save them for a later blog post.  In the meantime, I’ll leave you with today's food for thought.

Food for thought:
Patience is virtue; it may take some time before we are able to expose the roots behind decades of ongoing Military corruption which is like an incurable cancer.  If it’s not found and destroyed early, it will soon spread in to a dangerous and fatal disease.

Congress Deficit "Supercommittee" announces FAILURE

The WP- reported yesterday,

The Congressional bipartisan deficit super-committee announced its failure to lower the U.S. budget deficit by cutting $1.2 trillion dollars from the U.S overall $15 trillion dollar budget deficit.

For now, the super committee’s failure will set into motion automatic across-the-board spending cuts divided between defense programs and domestic spending, including a slim portion of Medicare — though benefit payments are not slated to be touched.

Cutting these programs will take effect in 2013 unless Congress can halt them.

So, what's the background on this so called “Supercommittee”?

Reports say:  The committee panel, which kicked off in September amid a bipartisan rush of hope, met off and on for the next two months but stalemated over the size and composition of tax increases and spending cuts each side would accept as they try to tame the government’s $15 trillion debt.

Why was the name “Supercommittee” chosen for this new subcommittee?
Which members of congress are members of this new supercommittee?

If these are the most seasoned, expert politicaldeal breakers” in Congress, why have they failed to find a way to cut our deficit in half, vice only $1.2 trillion dollars?

As the American economy continues to sink further into a recession, American tax payers don’t want to hear their local “elected” politician from their home state is not honoring his or her campaign promise, up on Capital Hill.

So far, here are just a few “Failed” campaign promises:
Lower taxes
Build more American business
Increase more American Jobs
Increase job wages so families can; earn enough
money to pay their mortgages, afford school and
college tuition for their children and afford
to pay healthcare bills.

As the holiday season is approaching, there are thousands of American families who can’t afford to feed their family a decent Thanksgiving meal or afford Christmas presents for their kids during the Christmas holiday season.

Unfortunately, these same Americans may soon be forced to pay higher taxes with money they don’t even have.

As we slowly slip back into a recession, God forbid a "Great Depression" there are a few things to be considered.

If there are not enough (non-government or federal funded)  jobs in America, how are Americans supposed to pay higher federal taxes?

Second, if there are no jobs or government assisted programs, how are Americans suppose to be able to provide food for their families to eat or clothes and shelter for their family?

I can go on and on…

I’ll save the rest of my Food for thought for my next blog!

Today’s post is dedicated to my Mother

I love you and wish you many more years to come!

In January 2010, my mother survived a near fatal stroke caused by brain aneurysm, when the average survival rate is 40%. Although the effects of the stroke caused permanent neurological damage, my mom is a strong woman and she’s a fighter.

My family and I are blessed and forever thankful to God for sparing her life.

As we celebrate her birthday today, we continue to celebrate her life even more.

I Celebrate Your Life

Mom, your birthday means so much to me;
To have you in my life another year,
The time I spent enfolded in your love,
Each day, each moment with you is so dear.
I cherish the very special bond we have.
You lift my spirit in so many ways.
I celebrate your life; I honor you,
And send to you my love and care and praise.

Happy Birthday Mom!
I love you and wish you many more years to come!
Love always, your Daughter, Syneeda

How much Debt does America really owe to China?

They say that if you put a frog into a pot of boiling water,
it will leap out right away to escape the danger.

But, if you put a frog in a kettle that is filled with water that is cool and pleasant,
and then you gradually heat the kettle until it starts boiling,
the frog will not become aware of the threat until it is too late.

The frog's survival instincts are geared towards detecting sudden changes.
This is a story that is used to illustrate how people might get themselves into terrible trouble…. Or Debt!!

This parable is often used to illustrate how humans have to be careful to watch slowly changing trends in the environment, not just the sudden changes. It’s a warning to keep us paying attention not just to obvious threats but to more slowly developing ones.

So what does all this means to the average American who is too busy watching a reality T.V. show, a football game or whatever else is keeping us too entertained from being able to see what is happening around us.

I  come across a few news articles to figure out why the sudden U.S. interest in China?

It might have something to do with an enormous $15 trillion dollar debt we are in, which is most likely owed to China.

I hope this article will offer some proof that our elected officials are failing to protect our hard earn dollars.

Instead of auditing and prosecuting the big corporations and government entities who are guilty of fraud, waste and abuse of OUR money, they would rather continue to bleed us dry.

Food for thought:
Why should Americans be forced to pay higher taxes if Congress can’t guarantee our tax dollars will be protected against fraud, waste and abuse?

or else.....

Is there another U.S. War conflict on the horizon?

Yesterday the Stars and Stripes Associated press reported:

China warns against South China Sea meddling

BALI, Indonesia (AP) -- China's premier has warned against outside interference in the South China Sea in an apparent challenge to the United States.

Wen Jiabao told a meeting of Southeast Asian nations on Friday that "external forces should not use any excuse to interfere" in territorial disputes in the sea.

The South China Sea has some of the world's busiest shipping lanes and is believed to hold huge oil and gas reserves. China claims all of it, while several Southeast Asian nations claim parts.
Wen did not mention the U.S. by name in his remarks, carried by the official Xinhua News Agency.

The U.S. has angered China by saying it has a stake in security and unhampered international commerce in the South China Sea.

This may explain why we are positioning Marine forces in Australia?

U.S. Military Faces Mounting Pressure to Crack Down on Rape

In 1978, President Carter signing the extension of the ratification deadline to the Equal Rights Amendment

Military Rape Victims
A court  hearing will take place in Arlington Va., today to hear the defense’s motion to dismiss the petition filed on behalf of  28 military rape victims who were alleged to have been raped during the course of their military duty.  In the civilian world it would be considered their place of work or on the job.

By no means should this situation be compared to the recent scandal surrounding the coach at Penn State University alleged to have raped a 14 year old little boy.  This helpless victim's  parents entrusted the safety and protection of his life to another adult.  The atrocious acts alleged to have been committed by the perpetrator has angered thousands of Americans and  touched the heart of those who are not even a parent.

But when a parent supports their son's or daughter's decision to join the military, they entrust their child’s lives and safety to President appointed government and senior military officials.

Serving in the U.S. military,  is an aged honored family tradition, passed down from generation to generation.  There are probably thousands of military veterans who can trace their family’s military legacy dating back a number of centuries.

Throughout American history, millions of Americans have sacrificed their lives not only to protect the lives of their families or their land, but to be guaranteed protection under the U.S. Constitution.

If this case is dismissed it will only give credence to the hypocrisy of the U.S. military's legal system, which fails to provide military veteran’s protection under the U.S. Constitution

If the U.S. Supreme fail to enforce military officials to uphold a veteran’s right to protection under the Constitution, it will further disgrace the legacy that so many veterans are proud of and the very rights they have died for.

Ferris Doctrine - Feres v. United States, 340 U.S. 135 (1950), combined three pending federal cases for a hearing in certiorari in which the Supreme Court of the United States ruled that the United States is not liable under the Federal Tort Claims Act for injuries to members of the armed forces sustained while on active duty and not on furlough and resulting from the negligence of others in the armed forces. [1] The opinion is an extension of the English common-law concept of sovereign immunity.

Failed Equal Rights Amendment - The Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) was a proposed amendment to the United States Constitution, proposing that men and women shall have equal rights throughout the United States and every place subject to its jurisdiction. Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.

The ERA was originally written by Alice Paul and, in 1923, it was introduced in the Congress for the first time. In 1972, it passed both houses of Congress, but failed to gain ratification before its June 30, 1982 deadline.

Food for thought:
If you are a mother, father or a  military veteran, I ask you to petition your Congressional Representatives to resurrect and ratify the Failed Equal Rights Amendment to enforce the safety and protection of our sons and daughters against "Military" workplace abuse.
